Call for Articles

Dear FIT Community,

These are uncertain times for all of us. The world is confronting an unprecedented pandemic, and all industries, including ours, will be affected. Many of our medical translator and interpreter colleagues are on or near the front lines of the global response, providing essential services to facilitate the communication of essential health and safety information. In addition to the types of articles that we regularly publish, the Translatio Editorial Team would like to use our platform in our next issue to highlight FIT associations’ efforts to support their own members and help coordinate a response to these extraordinary circumstances.

As usual, articles can also be about initiatives underway at your association or organisation, past or upcoming conferences, Board elections, etc. Submissions should be no more than 500 words, and detailed submission guidelines may be found here. We also welcome your submissions of properly credited photos (subjects, association affiliations and photographer) to accompany your articles.

The deadline for submissions is 15 April 2020.

Past issues may be viewed here.

Please submit articles to

Thank you in advance!
