We are happy to give you advance notice of a Branch event in mid-September, kindly organised and jointly hosted by Interpreting New Zealand:
Our next training event will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 5.30pm.
Everyone is cordially invited to an evening of shared drinks and thoughts :).
Our esteemed colleague Dr John Jamieson has very generously agreed to present a talk: "Yes, we have no bananas"- some reflections on why interpreters and translators are painters rather than photographers".
This will be followed by questions/answers.
This is a joint event hosted by Interpreting New Zealand and will be held at Level 5, 186 Willis St., Wellington.
Drinks and snacks provided as well - so come and enjoy a stimulating few hours with a great speaker and catch up with your friendly colleagues.
