Speaker: Dr Jim Hlavac
Dr Jim Hlavac is a senior lecturer in Translation and Interpreting Studies at Monash University. He is a NAATI accredited and practising professional interpreter and translator and has 20 years’ experience as an interpreter in health, legal and educational settings. He has published widely in the field of Translation and Interpreting Studies and also in the related disciplines of multilingualism, contact linguistics and intercultural communication.
