NZSTI Wellington Branch Notice of Annual General Meeting

Greetings all,

The 2016 Branch AGM will take place on 30 September 2016 - this is Translator’s Day.

Place: Ranchhod House, Level 1, 39 Webb Street, Te Aro, Wellington  

Time: 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Please send in your nominations for the posts of President, the Vice-President, the Secretary and the Treasurer, and for Committee members to xholland@maxnet.co.nz.  We will also email out a proxy voting form in the next week or so for those Wellington Branch members unable to attend the Branch AGM. An Agenda will also be circulated and the minutes from our last Branch AGM have been emailed.

BUT THERE IS MORE!

30 September is Translator’s Day and 2016 is the 30th Anniversary year of NZSTI’s founding.

We want to  celebrate!

Our plan is that following AGM formalities,  the meeting will become a warm social occasion for all our Branch members, with platters, wine and a NZSTI anniversary cake provided.

To further commemorate the anniversary at our Branch level, Patrick King, our esteemed colleague from the New Zealand Translation Centre, and  a founding member of NZSTI, has kindly accepted to be our guest speaker and will reflect on the early days of NZSTI.
