~ Notice of Annual General Meeting ~
Please come along to the August 2016 meeting and AGM of the NZSTI Auckland branch, to be held on
DATE: WEDNESDAY, 17 August 2016, 6.30 p.m - 8.30 p.m.
VENUE: University of Auckland, Arts 2 Building, 18 Symonds St, Level 5, room 501 (Patrick Hanan Room)
The Annual General Meeting will start at 7pm, followed by our speaker at approx. 7.30pm

Confirmed nominations for the committee so far include current members Jaspreet Singh (Branch President) Michèle Ryan (Treasurer), Sibylle Ferner, Kylie Hewitt, Claire Sjaada, Szu-Wen Kung, Premjeet Singh.
WANTED! The branch needs an active and energetic committee to organise meetings of interest to our members. Being part of the committee can be fun and is a great way to meet more colleagues - don't worry, it is not a huge time commitment. If you would like to be part of the Branch committee, please let us know! All that is required:

SPEAKER: A representative of Lumley Insurance in conjunction with Thorner General Insurances Ltd on the important topic of:
TOPIC: "Professional Indemnity Insurance"
As usual, the evening will start at 6.30 pm with light refreshments and time for socialising and networking before the AGM, followed by our speaker.
ACCESS: after-hours access to the Arts 2 building is via the door on Level 3, then up two floors to the Patrick Hanan Room (i.e. from Level 3 to Level 5). Please note that the entrance off Symonds Street is the Level 4 door, which may be locked after hours. Attendees have to go down one flight of steps outside the building from street level to get to the Level 3 entrance on the courtyard level.
PARKING: car parking in the surrounding city streets is free after 5 p.m., but very limited. Paid parking is available for a flat evening rate of $6 in the Owen Glenn Building (Business School), 12 Grafton Road: http://www.parkopedia.co.nz/
