Dear colleagues:

You are kindly invited to our next branch meeting on Friday 20th of November at WEA (59 Gloucester Street), starting at 5.30pm.

During our meeting we will begin with the Canterbury Branch AGM 2015, with the following agenda:

1) Apologies for absence

2) Welcome to new members and to visitors, introductions

 

3) Minutes of last AGM and matters arising

 

4) President's report

 

5) Finance

 

6) Election of:

 

•President(currently Peter Low)

•Vice-President (position currently vacant)

•Secretary (currently me)

•Treasurer (currently Rolf Giebel)

•Committee members

 

7) Any Other Business

 

After the conclusion of the AGM, we will do the follow up of the 2016 Conference planning. Other than the dates (28-29 May?) and the venue(Novotel?), we will also need to decide the theme for the Conference on NZSTI's 30th anniversary. Please see attached the past conference themes from 2001 to 2015. You might come up with a wonderful idea!  

Drinks and basic light refreshments will be provided, but additional potluck contributions (especially if they reflect your national/ethnic cuisine) will be welcomed and greatly appreciated.
