Canterbury NZSTI Interpreter Workshop

Tuesday 8 December

6.00pm to 9.00pm.  Upper Riccarton Library.

Theme: “Service Users and Service Providers – Merging Like a Zip”

The workshop will be in two halves: 

(1)    the users of interpreting services and what they really want and need from interpreters

Speakers will be from service users (Migrant Settlement Service, Pegasus Health)

(2)    the providers of interpreting services – what they think we should be providing

Speakers will be from service providers (Language Line, Interpreting NZ)

There will be six speakers in total, up to 20 minutes each, and the workshop theme will provide an excellent platform to hear from both sides and provide insights and food for thought for everyone involved in the interpreting industry.

Non NZSTI Members:  $25.00

NZSTI Members:  $20.00

Students:  $15.00
