Notice OF Annual General Meeting
The AGM of the NZSTI Auckland Branch will be held on Monday, 24 August at 7 pm with the following agenda:
1. Welcome and attendance
2. President's report
3. Treasurer's report
4. Election of committee
5. Other Business
SPEAKER: The AGM will be followed by a presentation by our new NZSTI National President, Karl Wilson, who will come up from Wellington to meet members of the Auckland Branch and share his vision for NZSTI's future with us.
SPECIAL EVENT: Presentation of a certificate to Sibylle Ferner, who was made a Fellow of NZSTI at the society's AGM on 29 June 2015.
As usual, the evening will start at 6.30 pm. with juice and nibbles and time for socialising and networking before the AGM.
WANTED!: The branch needs an active and energetic committee to organise meetings of interest to our members. Being part of the committee can be fun and is a great way to meet more colleagues. If you have a little time to spare and would like to be part of the Branch committee, please let us know!
ACCESS: after-hours access to the Arts 2 building is via the door on Level 3, then up two floors to the Patrick Hanan Room (i.e. from Level 3 to Level 5). Please note that the entrance off Symonds Street is the Level 4 door, which may be locked after hours. Attendees have to go down one flight of steps outside the building from street level to get to the Level 3 entrance on the courtyard level.
PARKING: car parking in the surrounding city streets is free after 5 p.m., but very limited. Paid parking is available for a flat evening rate of $6 in the Owen Glenn Building (Business School), 12 Grafton Road: http://www.parkopedia.co.nz/
