You are kindly invited to the next Auckland Branch meeting and AGM, to be held on

MONDAY, 25 AUGUST - 6.30-8.30 pm

VENUE: University of Auckland, Arts 2 Building, 18 Symonds St, Level 5, room 501 (Patrick Hanan Room)

Notice OF Annual General Meeting

The AGM of the NZSTI Auckland Branch will be held on Monday, 25 August at 7 pm with the following agenda:

1. Welcome and attendance
2. President's report
3. Treasurer's report
4. Election of committee
5. Other Business

The AGM will be followed by a PANEL DISCUSSION on the practical experience of NAATI exam candidates. We are fortunate to have found 6 panelists who between them represent a variety of languages and will share their experience with us and answer questions to the best of their abilities.

The main questions we would like them to answer are:

1) Did you find the exam harder or easier than expected?
2) Did you find the allocated time sufficient?
3) Was there anything you wished you had known about before the exam?
4) Do you have any advice and/or tips for future candidates?

As usual, the meeting will start at 6.30 pm. with juice and nibbles and time for socialising and networking before the AGM.

If you would like to be part of the Branch committee, please let us know. The branch needs an active and energetic committee to organise meetings of interest to our members.

Access to the Arts 2 Building is through the main entrance on Symonds St and then up one floor. Follow the signs to the Patrick-Hanan Room.
