Dear fellow Translators and Interpreters,

NZSTI Bay of Plenty in cooperation with BOPIS would like to invite you to the premiere of our professional development workshop series.

Henry Liu nominally living in Palmerston North will be our guest speaker.

We are thrilled to have Henry, former National President of NZSTI, current Vice-President of the International Federation of Translators, speaking to us about his colourful career as an interpreter ranging from conferences to diplomatic missions and his many assignments worldwide. With his experience in policy and advisory role to government agencies, he will also give his take on the status, trends and opportunities of our profession in New Zealand and the wider region.

His presentation will be followed by a question and answer session, which will be a great chance for you to find out more about interpreting and how you can develop further in your profession.

Place: Tauranga Multicultural Council

17th Avenue West, Tauranga.

Time: Saturday, 16 November 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Afternoon tea will be provided.

Kind regards, hei konei ra,
