International translator jobs scam

We have received a warning about a new type of scam: you may receive emails that appear to advertise translator jobs at reputable institutions and possibly include a link to that site or even the name of someone well connected with the institution or organisation.

If the job offer seems interesting, do not use the link in the email, but go directly to the correct address for the organisation and see if any jobs are being offered, then apply through their own channels.

The scams sometimes link to a false site and may ask for personal details and/or a payment or credit card details.
